Are you ready to get started tapping? The following is the procedure for tapping and the tapping points. Additionally, I have included a short video demonstrating the technique.

Don’t worry, even if it seems confusing at first, it is really very simple. You will get the hang of it in no time and be using it everywhere. Your kids will be saying Mom, STOP! 🙂

1) Identify target issue AND the emotion it makes you feel.

2) Rate the intensity of the emotion on a scale of 0-10.

3) Whilst tapping on the karate chop point, repeat the phrase 3x:

Even though I feel ___(emotion)___ because ___(target issue or problem)_____, I completely love and accept myself.

4) Repeat the emotion you are feeling while tapping several times on each of the points in the diagram below. I usually start with the eyebrow point.


5) Take a deep breath.

6) Re-rate the intensity of the emotion.

7) Repeat if above a 1.
